Getting Ready for the New Season
Summer is usually a quiet time at the Orpheum, and this summer is no exception. This is usually a time for the City to make repairs and/or upgrades inside and outside the building - two years ago it was the roof, and last year it was the installation of new carpeting. During the summer, the City will install new ballet flooring on the stage. Like a number of items in the Theatre, it was purchased by the Friends.
FOTOT is looking forward to a new season of events in the Theatre. We hope to have a third season of musical performances (now called “Downstairs @ the “O””), and we are looking to bring back one of our most popular presentations, Ghost Tours, in October.

Support the Friends, Become a “Star” – A unique way to support FOTOT. For $100 you can purchase a brick which will be placed in the “Avenue of Stars” located just east of the Theatre in the City Hall Plaza. Did You Know – The light rail has two stops that are less than a 10 minute walk from the Orpheum. Whether you’re coming from the East Valley or from Northwest Phoenix, taking the train allows you to avoid traffic as well as the cost of parking your car.
